Our Classes
Faith Trolley Preschool offers classes for 18 months to 2-year-olds, 2 to 3-year-olds, and pre-k. Each class follows the same weekly theme, adjusted by age level to teach children about themselves and the world around them.
From art to music, academics to Bible stories, and everything in between, our classes are structured to help your child flourish and develop at their individual pace.
Faith Trolley Preschool also partners with Amazing Athletes to offer age-appropriate athletics, for an additional fee.

Admissions
We are proud to offer admission for children from 18 months through five years old dependent on the following conditions:
• Openings available in the child’s age group
• Readiness of the child to enter our program
• The health of the child is good
• All required forms are returned
• All required fees have been paid
• Family agrees to abide by our handbook policies
Immunization Requirements – An updated immunization record must be presented at the time of your child’s enrollment. All records must be current and in compliance with California State regulations. A current physician’s report must be submitted as well.
Emergency Preparedness Kit – All schools are required to have a Disaster Preparedness plan in the event of an earthquake or other disaster. Our center practices all health and safety procedures, including emergency evacuation drills, on a regular basis. An emergency kit, which includes emergency essentials for your child for 72 hours, is included in your registration fee.
Frequently Asked Questions
What ages do you enroll?
We take children ages 18 months to 5-years-old!
Do you provide before/after school care for school-aged children?
Unfortunately, we do not. However, we are happy to recommend our neighbors, the Boys & Girls Club of Santee.
What if I don’t get my children immunized?
California State law requires all children in school be immunized unless they are medically exempt by their physician.
Do I have to provide my child with a lunch, diapers/wipes, etc.?
Great question! Part of your tuition includes meals/snacks and wipes. We ask parents to provide their own diapers for kids that aren’t potty trained.
What if I only need my child to attend school for a few hours?
We offer 1/2 day and 3/4 day options, as well as the ability to choose which days of the week your child attends. Schedules must be predetermined at enrollment, as classrooms are built around each child’s schedule.
What qualifications do your teachers have?
Teachers and staff at Faith Trolley Preschool have gone through a background check prior to employment, are CPR/First Aid certified, and are fully qualified to teach at a preschool level per California Community Care Licensing.
What is your teacher to child ratio?
California Community Care Licensing ratios are as follows:
18 months to 2 years – 1:6 ratio
2 to 3 years – 1:12 ratio
Pre-K: 1:12 ratio
At Faith Trolley Preschool, we believe it takes a village, therefore we purposely “over staff” and have 1-2 extra teachers per classroom or class level.
Do you potty train?
While we do not fully potty train your child, we work with every child and their family throughout their potty training journey. Because most potty training happens between the ages of 2 to 3 years old, our 2 to 3-year-old classroom has a bathroom in the room, and our teachers are trained to look for cues that your child may give when they need to go potty.
I work in public service, and some weeks my work days might be different. Can I change my days?
Unfortunately, no. Your days need to be consistent each week, but if you need an extra day, contact the preschool office and we will let you know if we have availability for a particular day.
